This is a combination of the clip series (feathers, brushes, fingers) that started it all for LOL. It was also Dianna’s first time being tied and tickled.

Back in late 2006, I was actually asked by some college students to be in a tickle video. I declined, they offered $200, I declined again, and I wrote the whole thing off as a crazy coincidence. (They wanted to tickle me, btw, or else I’d have been way more tempted to take them up on it.)

But of course, I had to tell my friends. I shared the story soon after during a boozy night out. When I got to the part about the money, Dianna said, “I’d have taken the cash and done it.”

“All right then,” I said, “I double dare you: I’ll pay you $200 to shoot a tickle clip, and we’ll sell it on the internet.”

Of course, no respectable friend can walk away from a double dare, and that’s how, a few weeks later, Di found herself tied down barefoot to a long narrow bench in my living room with her ankles locked in some woodshop-project stocks and her toes tied back.

We shot the clips, Dianna lost her mind, I did some quick editing, and finally I found a place to post them called Clips4Sale. That same weekend, I took off to Colorado on a hiking trip with my family.

After being off the grid for a week, we finally hiked into Telluride where I could get a signal on my cell. I checked Di’s clips on the C4S site…and we had already made hundreds of dollars! I sent her a text with the good news and quickly got a reply: “Wow! Can I do another one?”

By the time we returned from our trip, word had spread from Di through our whole friend group, and everyone was at least thinking about shooting a clip. Di even had a step-sister (Natasha) who wanted to try! From that point over the next few years, we shot maybe 50 clips with over a dozen different “real world” models: career women, sisters, wives, and moms. Now we’re at it again…hope our luck holds!
