This paper details the inaugural stimulation trial of Specimen RAVEN-01, a newly acquired volunteer. The objective was to establish a baseline map of tactile hypersensitivity, colloquially termed “ticklishness,” across five primary somatic zones. The subject was positioned using the Tickle Table v2 and subjected to a regimented probing sequence. The findings herein confirm Specimen RAVEN-01’s exceptional viability for extended sensory research.
To ensure zero data corruption through muscle contraction, Specimen RAVEN-01 was secured to the Tickle Table v2. The protocol was applied as follows:
Limb Immobilization: Steel-boned arm and leg sleeves were applied, encasing the subject’s limbs from proximal phalanx to axilla/inguinal crease. These sleeves were mechanically locked to the table’s anchor points, rendering any flexor withdrawal reflex physically impossible.
Pedal Distal Flexion: The subject’s toes were individually bound to the ratcheting T-Bar. The bar was then cranked to a maximum full-flex position, drawing the plantar fascia and metatarsal pad into a state of extreme tautness. This effectively eliminated the subject’s ability to curl her toes or scrunch the sole, exposing the highly sensitive subdermal arch.
